Welcome to Ramcharitra Singh College, a distinguished institution nestled in Manjhaul, Begusarai, Bihar. Established in 1965 and subsequently gained recognition by the UGC under section 2(f) and 12(B) in December 1980. Since 2004 college is NAAC Accredited when very Few institutions in Bihar undertook this accreditation process. These all exercises took place under the visionary leadership of Sri Bodhan Prasad Singh, our esteemed founder Principal. The college has emerged as a bastion of knowledge and enlightenment for the region. The college is imparting education in Arts and Science up to Degree levels and 04 Years CBCS in all U.G. courses has been introduced recently in 2023. From its inception, the college's journey towards excellence has been supported by various stakeholders. Key figures like Satya Narayan Singh and Akhileshwar Babu played pivotal roles in facilitating affiliations and land contributions, laying the foundation for our development. Despite early challenges, including relocations, the college's commitment to academic advancement remained steadfast. In 1974, a significant stride was made when generous donors, including Chandradeo Babu and Late Brahmdeo Ishwar, provided land for the establishment of the college's present campus in Siuri, marking a turning point in its growth trajectory. Over the years, luminaries such as Honourable Lalu Prasad and Honourable Hari Narayan Singh have graced our institution, supporting infrastructure projects like the Karpoori Stadium and Girls' Hostel. Contributions from individuals like Anil Chaudhary and S. S. Ahluwalia further fuelled our expansion, enhancing our facilities and resources. Today, Ramcharitra Singh College stands proudly as a constituent unit of Lalit Narayan Mithila University, offering Arts and Science programs up to the degree level. Our commitment to quality education is underscored by NAAC accreditation since 2004 and the recent introduction of CBCS in all U.G. courses. The college is also running add-on courses. The college has well equipped science and arts laboratories, Fully Library Automation system with WEB OPAC - enabled and also registered with INFLIBNET, Interactive Smart Class Rooms, Language Lab, ICT - based learning resources, 360 Online College Automations system, huge campus are free Wi-Fi Internet connectivity, separate common rooms and toilets for boys and girls and also differently friendly infrastructures. The fully maintained eco-friendly and waste management infrastructure. The college has two units of N.S.S. & N.C.C. to educate and serve the society to impart social responsibilities. The newly constructed Women Hostel with all the basic facilities has been recently inaugurated. With a student body exceeding 5000 and a dedicated team of 30 teachers and 15 non-teaching staff, we continue to strive for excellence. The college acquires 3.87 acres of landed area for college premises. The college is striving hard to get 2nd cycle accreditation by NAAC and to be a party to nation building & human values.
